How to Play

Play Sling Tomb online for free. Sling Tomb is an endless climbing video game where you help animals sling from peg to peg up the side of a tomb. Avoid dangerous obstacles & aim your sling correctly to keep climbing. Collect coins and gems along your way to purchase other character unlocks. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to start the game.
- This will bring up the shop store. Select the PLAY button at the bottom to start to bring you to active play.
- Sling your character upward to start playing. The waterline below you typically does not move until after you initiate the first movement.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including coin savings, gem savings, character unlocks, and the maximum height you climbed in a game.
- Whenever you restart the game there are two buttons above your slinging character.
  - The left button is a rewards button which you can click to get free coins. If this button is darker than the right button it means you can’t use it at the moment.
  - The right button takes you back to the in-game store.

    - Desktop
      - Use your mouse left click button to select your character, pull down to set your shot strength & angle, then fire to release upward.
      - Touchscreen devices
        Tap the screen with a finger to use a finger like a mouse.
        Controls & indicators
        Your coins and gems are shown in the upper left corner of the game.
        There is a sound control button in the upper right corner of the game.
        Game Play
        Holding Pegs
        This game has fixed and moving holding pegs in it. Your goal is to jump from peg to peg without getting hurt.
        Blue stationary pegs are the most common types of pegs, though some blue pegs move across a track shown on the background.
        Red pegs disappear briefly after you grab them, so if you grab one you need to sling again fast.
        Dying
        As you play you encounter a variety of dangerous obstacles including spinning blades, arrows, rotating fires, and explosive boxes that blow up when hit hard.
        If you hit any of those you die.
        As you head up the tomb a rising waterline follows you below.
        Other obstacles include angled pipes, pipes that can close on you, parts of the wall sticking out at an angle, and pinball like bouncer pegs.
        Any of these can throw you off course & send you flying downward.
        You can bounce off the side of the level and back in toward the middle, but pegs that seem so plentiful while you are aiming from a stop seem far more scarce when you are in an uncontrolled fall.
        When you die you keep all the coins you collected, but you start back at the beginning of the level.
        Each play has a different layout orientation which keeps the game feeling fresh even if you encounter many of the same aspects.
        Power ups
        The game has a variety of power ups you can collect.
        Shield – defends you from dangers like spikes and fire.
        Rocket – sends you flying vertically up a big part of the tomb.
        Magnet – attract coins to you.
        Large gem – when hit it opens like a coin purse and shoots many coins at you.
        Store
        Animals
        In addition to the monkey there are 5 other animals you can unlock.
        The bee and shark cost 200 coins each.
        The spider, dog, and Among Us type character cost 500 coins each.
        Facemasks
        There are 2 facemasks you can unlock for 100 gems each: Mario and Huggy Wuggy.
        Tips
        If you are on a horizontally moving peg try to aim for a nearby close peg and time your release to where you have a high likelihood of hitting it. It is preferable to shoot straight up or as close to it as possible, as if you are angled & the peg you are on is moving then it will likely throw off your shot angle.
        It generally makes sense to shoot as hard as you can when you fire as you are not punished for using more force than needed to reach another peg, but if you sling lightly and are a bit short you will likely fall down into the water.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like to monkey around with vertical jumping games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
