How to Play

Play Cooking Fever online for free. Cooking Fever is a cooking and business sim game. Take charge of a food truck and satisfy as many customers as you can. Reinvest your profits to upgrade your kitchen and raise your prices. Play through 50 challenging stages. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select Play on the bottom right corner of the welcome screen to begin.
On the top right corner are the following buttons:
- Select the music button to turn the game’s music on or off.
- Select the speaker button to do likewise with the game’s sound effects.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

        Levels
        
        Levels are unlocked in sequence:
        
        You start with only the first level unlocked. The first level serves as your tutorial.
        
        Finish one level to unlock the next.
        
        There are 50 levels in this game.
        
        You can replay the levels you’ve already unlocked.
        
        Replaying a level increases their difficulty.
        
        Finish playing at least 3 times to earn the 3-star rating.
        
        You can replay these levels more times to earn cash for upgrades.
        
        Levels are separated in 5 pages on the levels selection screen.
        
        Use the arrow buttons on the left and right side of the screen to navigate between them.
        
        The levels appear in a meandering path.
        
        The third to fifth level pages are grayed out.
        
        Basic rules
        
        Cooking burgers
        
        Select the bun bag to take out a hamburger bun.
        
        Select the patties to plop one in the grill.
        
        The timer will show how long it takes to cook the patty.
        
        Once it’s done, take the patty out of the grill as soon as you can.
        
        Select the patty to move it to a bun. You must have a bun to place in the patty.
        
        Leave it too long (as indicated by another timer) and it will burn.
        
        Place the other ingredients (cheese, lettuce, and tomato) onto the burger.
        
        The ingredients are always clicked in order from bottom to top. Cheese first, then tomato, and then lettuce.
        
        Make sure to match the customer’s demands.
        
        Select the finished burger to serve.
        
        Cooking fries
        
        Select the bag of fries to place them into the fryer.
        
        The fries will automatically be removed from the fryer.
        
        Select the finished fries to serve.
        
        Serving drinks
        
        The drink fountain automatically dispenses a cup of soda.
        
        Select the cup to serve it. A new one will be dispensed in its place.
        
        Serving the customer
        
        The customer will demand a specific order, which you must fulfill as quickly as you can.
        
        Meet the order exactly to satisfy the customer. Customers will not take a burger that isn’t what they want.
        
        Some customers will demand multiple items.
        
        Your customers will be served on a first come, first served basis. The one exception is if you haven’t finished preparing what they wanted yet.
        
        Customers will not wait forever.
        
        If they are not satisfied in time, they will leave.
        
        Fulfilling part of their order will bring their patience meter back up.
        
        In later levels, multiple customers will order at once. You best be prepared for the rush.
        
        Some levels have customers demand likes.
        
        Customers only give likes if they receive their order before their patience expires halfway.
        
        Finish the level before the timer runs out.
        
        If you don’t meet the quota of customers before the timer runs out, you lose the level.
        
        Upgrades
        
        Overview
        
        As the game progresses, your starting facilities will not be enough to satisfy the needs of the customers.
        
        Upgrades open up new slots, They are the key to serving several customers at once.
        
        Use the money you’ve earned from each level to pay for upgrades.
        
        Acquiring upgrades
        
        Buy upgrades by selecting the upgrade button on the bottom right corner of the level selection screen.
        
        You can upgrade the following features
        
        Coke dispenser: lower the serving time from 7 seconds to 6 seconds, then 4 seconds.
        
        Coke: increase your earnings per drink from 20 to 40, then 100.
        
        Coke slot: add second and third serving slots for glasses.
        
        Stove slot: enable a second burner to cook burgers at the same time.
        
        Pan: decrease burger preparation time from 7 seconds, to 5 seconds, to 4 seconds.
        
        Burger slot: adds a second or third spot for holding burgers.
        
        Meat: Increase sales point per burger from 80 to 160, to 360.
        
        Fryer Slot: increases server slot from 1 to 2, then 3.
        
        Fries Slot: adds a second serving slot for the fries.
        
        Fries: increases your points scored for fries from 30 to 60, to 120.
        
        You can only upgrading cooking slots & fryer slots once. Each other feature can be upgraded twice.
        
        Upgrading each feature starts at 720, then 1,125.
        
        Breakfast cafe
        
        The above upgrades are available immediately as soon as you can afford them. In addition you can upgrade parallel features for other menu items.
        
        The second half of the game has you play a breakfast restaurant serving coffee along with toast and toppings.
        
        Here are the features you can upgrade for the second half of the game.
        
        Coffee dispenser: lower the serving time from 7 seconds to 6 seconds, then 4 seconds.
        
        Coffee: increase your earnings per drink from 40 to 80, then 200.
        
        Coffee slot: add second and third serving slots for mugs.
        
        Toast slot: add a second, third, and fourth slot for holding cooked toast.
        
        Toasting machine: lower the toasting time from 7 seconds to 5 seconds, then 4 seconds.
        
        Toasting machine slots: upgrade your toaster to cook 2 or 3 pieces of toast at once.
        
        Toast: increase your earnings per serving from 160 to 320, then 720.
        
        Ingredients: increase your earnings for adding extra ingredients from 60 to 120, then 240.
        
        Power ups
        
        Use power ups to improve your performance in the level.
        
        Each power up has a different benefit.
        
        Coin power up: Increase coin earnings by 20%
        
        Time power up: Cook food 50% faster
        
        Frying pan power up: Avoid burning the burgers
        
        Clock power up: Adds 15 seconds to your time
        
        Power ups also cost money.
        
        Power ups provide a cheaper stopgap measure to help you clear the level faster.
        
        However, it is often more cost-effective in the long run to pay for upgrades first.
        
        Tips
        
        You only earn income if you beat a level, so if you are struggling to beat a level either activate multiple power ups on the way into the level, or replay previously beat levels to earn the income needed to upgrade your kitchen.
        
        The last 3 or 4 levels in each half of the game (e.g. 22 to 25 & 47 to 50) are much harder than most other levels & often require both a fully upgraded kitchen, and all the power ups enabled to beat them.
        
        If you purchase a power up for 100 coins you may need to refresh your web browser if the screen sticks.
        
        On the first half of the game the most important thing to upgrade early is having multiple burger handling spots, then upgrade your ability to hold multiple drinks & fries, and the second range for cooking more burgers.
        
        On the second half of the game the toaster count & how many plates you have for serving toast are the limiting factors to take care of first.

        The game is suited for players who like restaurant simulator games.
        
        The game has no adult themed content.
